River Marina
You can launch and retrieve your own boat via the slipway and enjoy a variety of boating activities on and around the Tone River.
Please note that use of the slipway and mooring pontoon — including boat handling, launching/retrieval, and mooring management — is entirely at the user’s own responsibility.

¥800 / per vessel per day (free for slipway users)
・Vessel Slipway
¥2,000 / per vessel per day
¥20,000 / per vessel per year

9:00–17:00 (or until sunset if sunset is earlier than 17:00)
How to Use
Please submit a Mizunosato Sawara Sawara Riverbank Usage Application Form at the River Station Information Center.
Required Documents
1. Small vessel license 2. Vessel inspection certificate 3. Vessel inspection logbook
・Registering as a member (¥100 registration fee) simplifies the application form from your second visit onward.
・First-time users can also register in advance to make the check-in process smoother on the day.
Please Note
1. Always wear a life jacket.
2. Keep to the right side within the harbour.
3. Maximum speed within the harbour is 5 knots.
4. Anchoring within the harbour is prohibited.
5. Do not approach waterway shipping lanes.
6. Vessels with modified exhaust/intake systems or illegal modifications are prohibited.
7. Mooring anywhere other than the designated mooring pontoon is prohibited.
8. Trailers and tow vehicles must only be parked in the designated boat yard area.
9. Occupying multiple mooring or parking spaces is prohibited.
10. Please use the restrooms inside the Waterside Exchange Center or the Community Exchange Facility.
11. On the main Tone River, please take full care not to obstruct fishing operations or impede the course of working fishermen.
12. Fishing, harvesting, fireworks, open fires, barbecues, camping, and similar or dangerous activities are prohibited at Sawara Riverbank.
13. Please take all rubbish home with you.
14. Use under the influence of alcohol is strictly prohibited.
